Utitlity Shelf

A utility shelf can easily sandwiched between the LX10's wedge and tripod. Mine is simply made out of two pieces of hardboard, cut to shape with a hand jigsaw, glued together back to back with the smooth sides on the outside. A 13mm hole is drilled in the appropriate place to allow the tripod screw to pass through the wedge, shelf and tripod.

At the moment my shelf allows my Z88 computer running the DSC software to sit on it. At the back of the shelf there is space to place small items, such as eyepieces.

No doubt, this will not be the only incarnation of my shelf.....
